About the Boy Scouts Parcel on Deer Pond

The town of Falmouth bought two parcels in Hatchville from the Cape Cod Council of Boy Scouts in 2005. This was the last purchase using Land Bank funds, and brought the grand total for Land Bank acquisitions to 904 acres.

The 17.7 acres off Blacksmith Shop Road front Deer Pond, across the water from the Mares Pond Reservation. However, the Boy Scout parcels are landlocked, with no direct public access.
