The 300 Committee Land Trust and Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod will host a community meeting on October 9  in the cafeteria at North Falmouth Elementary School at 62 Old Main Road from 5:30 to 7 PM to discuss their joint acquisition of 56 acres of woodland in North Falmouth.

The 300 Committee will buy and preserve about 48 acres as open space, while Habitat will purchase an adjacent 7.5-acre lot off Benjamin Nyes Lane to build 14 affordable, for-purchase homes.
The first half hour from 5:30 to 6 PM will be open house style, where staff from The 300 Committee and Habitat will have maps, design schematics and other materials on display and be available to answer questions. At 6 PM there will be a formal presentation followed by a question and answer session.
We will also hold a virtual version of the project presentation on Zoom on October 15 from 11 AM to noon. To register for that meeting, follow this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZUpdeygpjstGNG3iPgTN_R7mOjTN2dJQoI9#/registration
All residents with questions or comments are encouraged to attend either session. More information about the North Falmouth Woodlands project can be found at https://300committee.org/nf-woodlands-acquisition/.
