Congratulations to our fabulous volunteers who won special recognition at our Annual Meeting. Our volunteers and members make our work possible. The 300 Committee is truly a community, and we feel so fortunate to have such talented and hardworking people helping us achieve our mission to conserve land, care for that land, engage the public with nature, and educate residents on the benefits of land protection.

Vicky Lowell, who co-founded The 300 Committee in 1985, won the Wise Owl Award for her tremendous work making the vision of The 300 Committee a reality, and then continuing to share her dedication, energy and wisdom in steering T3C through four decades of land protection.

Barbara and Dan Walsh received the Mel Miller Stewardship Award for their ever-ready willingness to jump into whatever stewardship tasks need doing: trail clearing, invasive species removal, trash pickup and much more. Their dedication and good humor strengthen the camaraderie of our Coffee Clean-Ups.

Carmela Mayeski, the Falmouth Public Schools Learning Partnership Specialist, won the Special Places Award for her outstanding work envisioning and organizing outdoor environmental education field trips for Falmouth students.

Liz Klein and Cathy Kligler shared the Invaluable Volunteer Award for their work on the Outreach Committee leading walks and bicycle trips to conservation lands across town, leading the T3C winter book club, engaging children in the outdoors, baking cookies for our public events, and so much more.
