About Barque Drive Parks
Two small parks that provide access to Deep Pond were set aside when the Baywood Terrace subdivision in Hatchville was developed in the 1970s. The parcels are at each end of Barque Drive and are now owned by the town. The western park, 3.7 acres, has access from Sam Turner Road; two utility easements traverse the property. At the other end of Barque Drive is a 2.7-acre park that fronts on the pond. The town acquired the park on the west side in 1980 and the one on the east side in 1995.
The subdivision is situated between Sam Turner and Boxberry Hill Road. Brigantine, Goelletta and Galleon Drives lead to Barque Drive.
