Cifuni-Stewart Parcel

The 300 Committee purchased this 1.2-acre wooded lot on Moonakis Road in Waquoit in early 2007. The owners, Bob Stewart and Laurel and Stephen Cifuni, agreed to protect the abutting vacant lot to the south with a conservation restriction, resulting in 3 acres of preserved land.

The parcel adds another piece of protection to nearby Moonakis River, which flows into Waquoit Bay, and it lies across the road from the town-owned Margaret Doutt Preserve.
