Farley Bog

ACCESS: Access to the bog is along a dirt road heading north from a parking area just east of 187 Carriage Shop Road, Falmouth, MA.

HISTORY & GEOGRAPHY

These 13 acres were transferred from the Town of Falmouth to the Falmouth Rod and Gun Club in 2018. Restoration efforts here (completed in 2021) focused on converting abandoned cranberry bogs to natural wetlands, with the goal to re-create cold water fish habitat and foster the return of native brook trout to the upper Childs River. For safety, please observe hunting ground signs.
