About Zinn Park
Zinn Park was dedicated in 2001 in the memory of Eleanor Blevins Zinn, an avid nature-lover. These seven acres overlook Oyster Pond and the pond’s only freshwater stream. The Oyster Pond Environmental Trust (OPET) now owns the parcel.
The park is on Ransom Road, on the south side of Woods Hole Road, just beyond the Sea Education Association campus on the north side. Follow Ransom Road to the circle at the end; the parcel is on the right. Trails here now link with the trail system of the Oyster Pond Headwaters, which connects with the end of Fells Road and Spohr Gardens. A short walk down Fells Road and Oyster Pond Road leads to Surf Drive and the Shining Sea Bikeway.
